Greetings, and thanks for coming by.

 

To give a little background about myself; I am a retiree that can now actively pursue my most favorite pastime, photography.

 

My family and friends have seen me go through a number of hobbies like candle making, fly tying, and growing bonsai. But the one activity I always come back to is photography.

A few years ago with retirement, and the extra free time, I was ready to take my photography to the next level. To start I trained to observe things in a new way. (Kind of like when I'm on vacation, site seeing.) Doing so gave me a different interpretation (view) of subjects that could be categorized as "normal".

Then it was a matter of applying my 50+ years of knowledge, experience and training in photography to the capture the image as I saw it. The photos you see here are my best effort to representing  my vision. Hope you enjoyed what you have seen as much as I have had bringing them to you.
